When: Monthly on Wednesday evenings 19:00 pm-20:30 pm
Once a month for 6 months, beginning in April
Venue: Zoom

My name is Ute and I started my Yoga and meditation practice in the late 70s; I’m a certified Yoga teacher by the School of Yoga in Bonn and Yoga is a very important part in my life.

A Zoom Yoga class gives us a wonderful opportunity to practice together as a group, but from the comfort of our own homes or perhaps from somewhere else for all kind of reasons.

I myself have been practising and teaching via Zoom for several years beyond the borders of Scotland and for me it’s a chance to practice with lots of Yoga friends without travelling.

Our Yoga practice will begin with some minutes of silence and guided breathing. This will be followed by simple Yoga postures which will be deeply stretching and relaxing for body and mind.  We take time moving in and out of the poses and also take time to look inward and feel the body in each post. The practice is slow with an emphasis on connecting breath, body and mind. From time to time, we will practice a Yoga Nidra which is also called ‘Yogic sleep’ a longer relaxation. A guided relaxation will be at the end of every session.

And no worries you can always work at your own level, also I will give modifications like using a chair or you can go as far as you feel comfortable in the posture and from there doing the posture in your imagination!

An important aspect of Yoga practice is the ability to let go, to not control and to experience what is, without interfere.

Namaste!

The classes will take place: Wednesdays 8 April, 13 May, 10 June, 8 July, 12 August and 9 September, 19-20.30 pm
There will be a maximum class size of 10
